So, I thought that I wrote a reflection kind of thing every year,
but then I just looked at my Xanga (who uses that still?) and I realize
that I haven't done one for a couple of years. But, anyways, since I'm
here now because of stupid driving curfew (there were no police on the
way home, which was strange). Anyways, here it is.
Plain and simple, 2008 sucked. Yes, I got my license which is just
awesome. Whoever said that being able to drive equals more
responsibility really didn't know what they were talking about. Uhm.
Yeah besides that, I don't think anything good happened. Car got hit.
Made my first hospital visit and got nine stitches. Practically was
"grounded" the whole summer. SATs (which will never be spoken about
again). College applications. Rejected from my dream school. Hammered
with school work. Realized how few real friends I have, but at least
they're all great friends. Yes, sucky.
So now it's 2009. Last year's a year to forget, so looking forward now (omg, optimism from the class pessimist?).
Things to look forward to:
1. (Hopefully) Getting into college.
2. (Hopefully) Going to college.
3. ITALY
4. Graduation
I would go on, but I'm exhausted from all the eating and screaming and
laughing from tonight and I'm about to pass out. So, there was have it.
My [annual] reflection. Happy new year.
